Property Race Day 2019

Property Race Day 2019

The sixth annual Property Race Day took place on Thursday, 13th June 2019 and saw the industry gather together to raise over €130,000 for the ISPCC & Debra Ireland.

Over 450 of Ireland’s property, investment and financial leaders gathered in the Pavilion, Leopardstown for an exciting and entertaining day beginning with a Moët & Chandon and Heineken drinks reception. Entertainment was courtesy of The Hit Drummers on arrival, the Satin Martinis, and an up tempo DJ & Sax combo, to finish out the evening’s entertainment.

After last year’s popular performance, Ivan Yates returned as MC, and oversaw the evenings proceedings, with the hilarious Mario Rosenstock providing the post-dinner entertainment. Amidst the excitement of the races, cocktail supremoes mixed up delicious drinks as guests bid on an array of incredible prizes at the charity auction, raising over €40,000. Among the amazing prizes on offer was a family trip to New York, for Five Nights with flights, a Chef’s Table experience for six people at the multi-award-winning Chapter One. For the golf enthusiasts, one lucky bidder bought four tickets to the Open on as well as a Four Ball for Royal Portrush- host of the 2019 Open Championship.[/vc_column_text]

To date, Property Race Day Ireland has raised over €675,000 net for Irish charities, commenting on the invaluable funds raised, Chairman of Property Race Day Ireland, Andrew Gunne said

“We are delighted with the funds raised to date and intend to grow this for the benefit of all of these worthy causes involved in the years ahead. As an industry, we are very proud to support so many children’s Charities including Debra Ireland, Hope & Homes for Children, Irish Youth Foundation, Jude Miley Trust, The Hope Foundation, ISPCC & Childline, The National Maternity Hospital Foundation, To Children with Love, and The Children’s Trust. This is a great result considering that it was just an idea Six years ago and testament to the incredible efforts of our amazing Committee,  Jamie Rohan, Johnny Horgan, Paul McDonnell, Paul Grimes, Suzie Cruess-Callaghan, John Hall along with our President, Mark FitzGerald”.

To our Sponsors and Table Hosts – on behalf of the Committee and the Charities, thank you for your support. It is massively appreciated, and the vital funds raised would simply not be possible without your generosity.
